This article describes how to use the Send-As feature of a shared mailbox. When sending an email this way, it will appear to come from the shared mailbox and not the email account tied to your name.

    

  1. Contact the I.T. Helpdesk and request to be given Send-As permissions to the shared mailbox.
  2. Open a new email or reply.
  3. Click the “options” tab on the ribbon at the top (red arrow).
  4. Click the “from” option (pink square).
  5. Open the new “from” dropdown next to your email address (orange arrow).
  6. Select “other email address…” and enter [email protected]
  7. You should now be able to send emails from that shared mailbox and they will show up to the recipient as coming from [email protected]
