This article describes how to use the Send-As feature of a shared mailbox. When sending an email this way, it will appear to come from the shared mailbox and not the email account tied to your name.
- Contact the I.T. Helpdesk and request to be given Send-As permissions to the shared mailbox.
- Open a new email or reply.
- Click the “options” tab on the ribbon at the top (red arrow).
- Click the “from” option (pink square).
- Open the new “from” dropdown next to your email address (orange arrow).
- Select “other email address…” and enter [email protected].
- You should now be able to send emails from that shared mailbox and they will show up to the recipient as coming from [email protected].
